The structures located in Downtown Tuskegee, Alabama (also referred to as "The Square") contains traditional storefront buildings varying in ornamentation & historic architectural elements. It also contains rich history lending great potential when pursuing efforts towards revitalization. South Main Street is also known as Alabama Highway 15 North & South/ US-29 North & South, with connection to additional routes that travel as far as Florida.

Interior views of the "Entertainment Block" (block 9) reveal the possibilities of an amphitheater, balconies, and outdoor seating after orienting newly proposed businesses along the blocks edge.

Downtown Tuskegee Historic District Entertainment Block Narrative
After performing a visual analysis of this particular block, thoughts begin to form, what could become of a cluster of buildings rich in elements of architecture? The theme for this particular site would be to transition from decentralization to centralization, with little interest in modernizing the abandoned buildings. Tuskegee has an identity worth exploiting that could possibly become a lucrative form of income for the city, this being the cities undeniable love for music.
Located within this particular block is the reminiscent of a music store titled “Tuskegee Music Network”, this reveals opportunities to address an existing entity in the community that the people of the community still show passion for. Within the night life of Tuskegee exist a number of blues clubs to urban hip hop and r & b clubs spread out throughout the hills and woods of the city, some see this as opportunity to pull the people from the corners of the community to the cities original downtown district. This will provide a number of solutions to improving the financial situation of the city of Tuskegee. Centralizing the clubs and introducing new and attractive restaurants, dance studios, recording studios, galleries, boutiques, open- air theater, antique shops will illustrate the unique history of the cities original business district.
